The Raimundtheater, named after the Austrian dramatist Ferdinand Raimund, was erected by a Viennese society in 1893. It is located within the 6th district, Mariahilf. The Raimundtheater performs musicals, similar to the Theater an der Wien. Down to the present day it had several performances, for example: A Chorus Line, Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Hair, Romeo and Juliet, We will rock you, and many more.
